RSS assists people who have a strong desire to grow in their own substance use recovery. Peer Recovery Coaches provide long-term supoprt, advocacy, mentoring, education, and assertive outreach to enhance recovery outcomes for participants. Goals in the recovery plan are not defined by staff but are set by the peer with a focus on building recovery capital in order to achieve the quality of life in recovery they have self-defined. RSS also provides "reach-in" supports while individuals are incarcerated to assist them in successfully re-entering the community after incarceration.

Basic Needs: meeting YOUR goals re: housing, transportation, work, purpose, etc...

Being of Service: helping YOU identify ways to connect & help others. Giving back!
HOPE: maintaining the belief with YOU that change is possible
Multidimensional Support: helping YOU identify, access, & build a positive network of support.
Individuals who are interested in enrolling in RSS must be willing to commit to being an active participant for at least 12 months. Recovery Support Services will consist of: one-on-one peer coaching/mentoring; basic needs planning; recovery check-ups at 3, 6, 9, 12 months and beyond; group education and support meetings; career-building activities; health and wellness activities; and social activities.
